Get Involved

Raise Awareness
Now that you are aware, a great way to get involved is to help spread the message. Talk to your friends, family, and community members about human trafficking. It doesn't have to be anything grandiose, a quick mention of this website is a great way to get started.

Know the Signs
Whenever you are out and about, there are signs you can look for as possible evidence of trafficking. Some of the most prevalent signs are evidence of being controlled, inability to leave job, signs of physical abuse, fear or depression, no passport or other forms of identification or documentation, not speaking on own behalf/non-English speaking.

Know What to Do
Call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text INFO or HELP to BeFree (233733) to report a tip.

Host a Movie Night
Currently, we hold the rights to show Nefarious: Merchant of Souls, Not My Life, and Finding Faith. We provide the film you want and a volunteer to answer any questions afterward. To schedule a Movie Night, click here.

Request a Speaker
Our speakers are free and conduct a variety of trainings including Hotel and Motel, and Trafficking 101. We are also available to participate in panel discussions and community events. To request a speaker, click here.

Continue Learning
There are all kinds of great resources to help you learn more about human trafficking. (We are in the process of updating) our Resources Page for a better selection of books, movies, and websites to help get you started.

Volunteer with Us
We would love for you to volunteer with us! No matter the time or place, there is always an area where we could use more help. We also encourage creativity and are more than open to your talents and ideas. To inquire about becoming a volunteer, click here.

Donate
Of course, as much as we need and appreciate your time, initiative, and prayers, money is also a necessary component to being able to do all the things we do in the fight against trafficking. Donations are always welcome, appreciated, and put to good use. If you would like to donate, click on the Donate Tab on our front page. You can also support us while you shop with  Amazon Smile and  YouCaring.

Support Our Events
Supporting our cause doesn't necessarily mean you have to volunteer or spend money. We plan and participate in many events around the community. So if you happen to find yourself at an event we are at, stop by and talk to us. A few encouraging words can go a long way. Check out our upcoming events on the right side of this page.

Become a Responsible Consumer
Labor trafficking is an often overlooked type of trafficking, but it is present in many of the products we buy. Learning more about our favorite products and making better choices in regards to who we buy from is a great step towards ending this terrible practice. For more on responsible consumerism, click here

Pray
We believe prayer is our greatest weapon against human trafficking and the more people we have praying over the issue the better. Say a quick prayer for the end of trafficking and if you aren't sure what to say, check out our Prayers Page. (We are in the process of updating our Prayer Page.)

Advocate
Writing your congressman is a great way to show that you care about the fight against trafficking and to prompt your congressman to take action. Check this site for updates on new legislation we are supporting. Also check out Polaris Project to find out what trafficking laws are already in place and what new legislation is coming up.
